The cottage is furnished with an air of a rustic, romantic getaway for two, but with its 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a sleeping loft, it is equally ideal for the whole family. The first floor consists of the main living area, a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, and a sleeping loft with twin beds. The loft is accessed by a wall ladder, so it is best saved for use by children
The downstairs level has a bedroom with twin beds, a full bath, a laundry room and a large master bedroom with a screened porch. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a sitting area, a wet bar and a peaceful lake view from its screened porch.
Hemlock Hill Cottage has a view of the lake from its deck. A winding footpath leads from the cottage down to the lake’s edge where guests will find a private dock on deep water that allows for great swimming, fishing, boating and a canoe for exploring the lake and its waterfalls.

Bernie, I have to say we are totally speechless! Your home is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. The attention to detail is impressive. We were here celebrating our 10th anniversary with our children and our dear friends and other family. We had big family dinners every night, fishing on the boat, swimming, bon fires…it was a blast. Wonderful-as usual. We love this place and it is SO PERFECT for family gatherings. This time we rented a pontoon and explored the lake. We will have many happy memories from our spring break at Fern Bank and look forward to Christmas at Fox Hollow.
Fern Bank was the most impressive home found on VRBO. Was even more so upon arrival. We “oohed” and “aahed”, we enjoyed the house, the porches, and the views are the best on earth! A perfect place for a family get together.
Staying here was the highlight of our summer! Waking up to that view everyday is really breathtaking. We did quite a few things while staying here. We swam to the island, hiked, and explored the neighborhood. We will return.
