Bridal Veil Falls is a 45 foot waterfall that falls from a bluff above highway 64 so that cars can drive under it. Bridal Veil Falls is the only waterfall in the state that cars can drive under. The bluff hangs so far over that there is a dry space behind the waterfall so visitors can walk behind the waterfall without getting wet.  During droughts the waterfall may dry up completely and if there is a lot of rain the water flow may be higher.

Bridal Veil Falls is part of Cullasaja River in the Nantahala National Forest.  The waterfall is located about 3 miles north of Highlands so while you are visiting us in your luxury lakefront cabin in Cashiers, NC, its worth the short drive to Highlands to see Bridal Veil Falls.
