From the Guest Book

We come to the Cashiers/Highlands area several times a year and must say Red Canoe is one of the nicest cottages we have seen.  We loved the views and the lake.  The Wallace family

The views are spectacular and we will recommend this property to friends as beautiful place to stay.  Being in the design business, we appreciate all the EXTRA touches.  The Chiltons

Red Canoe is a terrific find!  The Herakivich's

Our families have sucked in every peaceful serene moment of this beautiful home and lake  from watching the fog roll away in the morning to the sunsets in the evening. The canoe has been gone every minute of the day and we've caught about 7 large and small mouth bass and walleye. We rented a boat and saw all of the waterfalls.  What an amazing vacation!  The Uth's  Lane's   and Kearney's

Your artisitic use of colors and furnishings would make Southern Living drool with envy!  What a wonderful mountain retreat!  The Clark's

What an absolutely peaceful experience , the home, the scenery and the beauty far surpassed our expectations!  We have been everywhere but all of our vacations rolled into one is what we experienced here at the "Red Canoe Cottage."

We could not have chosen a more perfect location.  The photos online did not do justice to what we found once we arrived.  Sisters of the Red Hat Society

We found this cabin on the internet and couldn't believe it could possibly be as wonderful as it sounded and looked.  What a delight to find that it was! I want to keep Red Canoe as my little secret so we can come back again and again. The Nelsons

We have enjoyed every minute of this week, from the porch to the lake to the wonderful kitchen and great room.  We will be back.  The Kolberos and Slabaughs
